Job Vacancies :
EXECUTIVE - QUANTITY SURVEYOR
-General preparation and submission of tenders including measurement of quantities;
-Accurate interpretation of all tender drawings, BQ specifications and other tender requirements;
-Clarification on discrepancies of tender drawings; obtain clarification and confirmation to all ambiguities of tender;
-Responsible in the sourcing of competitive and reliable suppliers and sub-contractors;
-Administer the filing system and safekeeping of tender quotations;
-Responsible in analysis of tender pricing and quotations;
-Responsible in reviewing, evaluating and making recommendations on tender quotations;
-Ability to assist in preparing feasibility studies (FS) & Life Cycle Costing (LCC).
-Monitor timely award of sub-contracts and timely submission of progress claims;
-Comprehensive documenting of Change Orders;
-Administer project and subcontractors' final account;
-Assist in sample submission, material ordering and material controls;
-Monitoring of major cost elements and highlighting deviations.
-Candidates must possess Bachelor of Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution;
-At least 1 - 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
-Good knowledge of contract administration, cost estimation and well verse in pricing;
-Self-initiating and self-motivated with a great passion for details;
-Conversant in standard of measurement rules and BQ preparation;
-Required computer skills : AutoCad and Microsoft Office;
-Strong communication skills both oral and written English;
-Must be willing to travel and relocate;
